HAIRDRESSING MADE EASY
LIVE COURSES AND VIDEO LIBRARY
TERMS OF USE

Effective Date: May 15, 2026

Thank you for registering for a workshop, course, online training, membership, or educational experience provided by Hairdressing Made Easy (“HME,” “Academy,” “us,” or “we”), located at 815 America Way, Del Mar, CA 92014.

These Terms of Use apply to all in person workshops, live online trainings, educational events, memberships, digital courses, video libraries, and related services provided by Hairdressing Made Easy (collectively, the “Services”).

LIVE WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGS

Supplies

For live workshops and trainings:

• All professional working equipment must be provided by the attendee
• Working materials, including pens and paper, may be provided by Academy for in person trainings
• Beverages and snacks may be provided by Academy for in person trainings
• Tripods and mannequins may be provided by Academy for mannequin sessions, both in person and online, subject to availability and Academy approval for international shipments

Transportation

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, parking, and related travel expenses associated with attending any in person workshop or training.

Workshop Rules

All participants are expected to adhere to the following rules while attending any workshop or training:

• Attendees must be at least 18 years of age
• Although courses may be suitable for various skill levels, attendees participating in hands on professional education must be licensed cosmetologists where required by law
• Attendees must behave professionally, respectfully, and courteously toward all attendees, educators, staff, and representatives
• Disruptive, inappropriate, abusive, or unsafe behavior may result in immediate removal without refund

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONTENT RIGHTS

Exclusive Property; No Reproduction

Attendees acknowledge and agree that all materials, presentations, methodologies, educational systems, demonstrations, course structures, videos, diagrams, written materials, and teaching concepts disclosed or used during any Service are the exclusive property of Hairdressing Made Easy and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, taught, sold, shared, recorded, or used outside the Services without prior written permission.

Intellectual Property

You agree that all materials, methods, instructions, videos, systems, branding, educational content, and proprietary information provided through the Services (“Materials”) are owned exclusively by Hairdressing Made Easy and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use the Materials in any manner that infringes upon the rights of Hairdressing Made Easy or that has not been expressly authorized in writing.

Unauthorized reproduction, recording, distribution, teaching, resale, or commercial use of the Materials is strictly prohibited and may result in civil liability and legal action.

MEDIA RELEASE

Photos, Videos, and Media Release

By participating in any workshop, training, event, or Service, you irrevocably grant Hairdressing Made Easy and its agents, representatives, contractors, affiliates, and assigns the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, display, exhibit, publish, distribute, edit, modify, and create derivative works from your image, likeness, appearance, voice, statements, and recordings captured through photography, video, audio, livestream, or other media (“Likeness”).

You agree that your Likeness may be used worldwide, in perpetuity, without compensation or additional approval, for any lawful purpose, including marketing, advertising, educational, promotional, social media, website, streaming, and commercial purposes.

You waive:
• Any right to inspect or approve materials containing your Likeness
• Any claim for compensation or royalties related to use of your Likeness
• Any claims related to privacy, publicity, or defamation arising from lawful use of your Likeness

This release applies to all media collected during or in connection with the Services by Hairdressing Made Easy or authorized third parties.

FEEDBACK

You agree that Hairdressing Made Easy may use feedback, testimonials, reviews, comments, surveys, workshop discussions, emails, messages, or other communications provided by you for marketing, promotional, educational, or business purposes.

COURSE CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

Right to Cancel or Reschedule Courses

Hairdressing Made Easy reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule any workshop, course, training, or event due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, emergencies, technical issues, venue limitations, or other business or operational reasons.

If a course is canceled by Hairdressing Made Easy, enrolled attendees may:
• Transfer enrollment to a future course date, or
• Receive a refund if required by applicable law or offered at Academy discretion

VIDEO LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP TERMS

Membership

Your membership will continue and automatically renew until canceled.

You must provide a current and valid payment method. By enrolling in a membership, you authorize Hairdressing Made Easy to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected billing cycle until canceled.

To avoid future charges, you must cancel your membership before the next billing date.

Unless otherwise required by law:
• Payments are nonrefundable
• No refunds or credits will be issued for partial membership periods
• Failure to use the membership does not relieve payment obligations

SMS MARKETING AND MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS

By registering for workshops, memberships, courses, or services provided by Hairdressing Made Easy, you consent to receive SMS messages related to:
• Educational content
• Promotions and offers
• Course announcements
• Event reminders
• Marketing communications

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchase.

Your mobile number and personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

ACADEMY SERVICES AND CONTENT

You agree that all Academy services, platforms, educational content, videos, memberships, and related materials (“Service and Content”) belong exclusively to Hairdressing Made Easy and are protected by intellectual property laws.

The Service and Content are provided solely for your personal, non commercial use and may not be shared outside your household, organization, or authorized user account unless expressly permitted in writing.

During an active membership or enrollment period, Hairdressing Made Easy grants you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable license to access the Service and Content solely through authorized Academy platforms.

Except as expressly permitted, you agree not to:
• Archive or download content
• Reproduce or distribute content
• Record workshops or trainings
• Modify or create derivative works
• Sell or sublicense Materials
• Publicly display or perform content
• Circumvent security protections
• Use automated systems to scrape or access content

Hairdressing Made Easy reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to Services for violations of these Terms or for illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized conduct.

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Services, Service and Content, Materials, software, platforms, and related functionalities are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Hairdressing Made Easy does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error free operation, or specific educational, professional, or business results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hairdressing Made Easy shall not be liable for:
• Indirect damages
• Consequential damages
• Lost profits
• Loss of business opportunities
• Personal injury
• Data loss
• Technical interruptions
• Any special or incidental damages arising from use of the Services

ARBITRATION

Any controversy, dispute, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or any relationship between the parties shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS in San Diego County, California before a single arbitrator under JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules.

The arbitrator shall have authority to award legal and equitable remedies available under California law.

The arbitrator’s written decision shall be final, binding, and enforceable in accordance with California law.

By agreeing to these Terms, both parties waive the right to:
• File lawsuits in court
• Participate in class actions
• Have disputes decided by a jury

NOTICE: BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION AND YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY OR COURT TRIAL.

MISCELLANEOUS

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California.

Non Waiver

Failure by either party to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement rights.

Changes to Terms

Hairdressing Made Easy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
